Cancellation Policy

NON DRIVING

Jobs canceled less than 36 hours in advance will still be charged the estimated amount the job would have taken, an invoice will be sent to the client

While I do understand that illness and other life surprises cannot always be predicted, but last second cancellations do not leave me time to line up another job

The evening before a job is NOT enough time for me to fill your vacated slot.

WEATHER: 

Obviously, especially in New England, weather can be an issue. In the case of sudden (meaning no warning whatsoever) torrential rain and/or lightning (meaning downed limbs and dangerous roads) only 25% of the expected pay would be due

Snow, Rain, Ice: I have good tires, new wipers, and will leave early and drive slow.  I do not take snow days and I don’t mind if your kids’ school is cancelled and will be around at a job.

 

DRIVING:

50% of agreed upon estimate must be paid in advance using Paypal, Zelle, or, if ride booked far in advance making snail mail an option, Money Order (no personal checks), the remainder is payable in cash at drop off 

If the ride is cancelled 36 hours in advance or more a full refund will be issued.  Fewer than 36 hours is at Maura’s discretion for unforeseen, extenuating circumstances only
